Management
The Queensland Youth Choir is a non-profit, community-based organisation funded through membership fees, performance fees, concert profits, and limited fund-raising activities. It is administered by a Management Committee which includes elected parents and/or adult members plus an an executive consisting of a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. Elections are held annually at the time of the Annual General Meeting in mid-March.
The day-to-day operations of the organisation, its rehearsals and performances are overseen by an administrative team headed by the Administrative Director.
The artistic operations of the Queensland Youth Choir are maintained by a group of professional musicians, singers, choreographers and educators who work under the direction of the Artistic Director.
