Exchanges

The Queensland Youth Choir has established strong links with other youth choirs and orchestras both within Brisbane and further afield.

Over the years QYC has promoted international goodwill, cultural exchange and choral development for young people by hosting choirs from Philadelphia, the Meiningen Kinderchor, the Kyoto Girl's Choir, the Adelaide Girl's Choir, Young Voices of Melbourne, Bendigo Youth Choir, the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, the Singing Hoosiers (Indiana University), the Seattle Boychoir, the Southend Girls' Choir, the Australian Girl's Choir, Kashiwara City Junior Chorus, Sangerjugend Solingen, Yip Choir from Hong Kong, Solenne from Finland and the Danish National Girls Choir.

Farnham Youth Choir

While on tour overseas, the Queensland Youth Choir has visited and worked with Grex Musicus, Laurus Nuorisokuoro, Laulu Joutsenet, Solenne, Chorus Iuvenalis, Camis Chamber Choir (Finland), Musikskolas Kammarkor (Sweden), Southend Boys and Girls Choir, Farnham Youth Choir (England), Bonisudumo Choristers (South Africa), Quintessential Vocal Ensemble, High Park Choirs of Toronto, Arviat Imngitingit (Canada), and the massed choir at Festival 500 in Canada.
